Purchase and delivery

Prices are shown in Philippine pesos. Your fulfillment email must be verified before LucyOS opens the selected PayMongo or PayPal hosted checkout. A redirect is not proof of payment: access begins only after LucyOS independently confirms the final provider record, product, amount, currency, merchant, and payment status.

The emailed purchase confirmation is not a tax invoice. Any tax or official-invoice document must be separately issued by the configured merchant when legally applicable.

These publications provide downloadable digital access. All sales are final once viewer access or a download is delivered. Pre-delivery cancellation is available only where the payment provider permits. This final-sale rule does not remove mandatory remedies for a duplicate or unauthorized charge, non-delivery or inaccessible service, materially corrupt or incorrect content, or any other non-waivable right under applicable law.

Personal publication license

A completed purchase grants one buyer a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to read the purchased publication. You may not redistribute, resell, publish, sublicense, or share the file, document password, access cookie, or browser profile.

This is access control, not digital rights management. Browser-visible pages can be captured, printed, or extracted, and an opened file can be copied. LucyOS does not claim that the viewer or encryption is uncopyable or impossible to bypass.

Device modes and expiry

Shared or public device mode is the recommended default: it is viewer-only, has no save control, ends after 20 minutes of inactivity, and cannot exceed four hours. Closing the viewer does not lock access; use End and lock before leaving the device.

Private device access expires after 30 days and should be selected only on a device you control. It permits a separately requested, password-protected AES-256 copy after fresh provider verification. Both modes use publication-scoped 10-minute viewer leases backed by payment revalidation; a refund or reversal can therefore take up to that lease window to stop an already-open viewer.

Recovery and service limits

LucyOS provides no permanent account, lifetime access, or hosted library. Recovery depends on the original verified email, the PayMongo or PayPal receipt/reference, provider record availability, a new browser-bound code, and successful payment revalidation. It is not guaranteed after provider records become unavailable.

Provider outages, ambiguous payment state, refunds, reversals, disputes, expired access, or failed encryption cause access or saving to fail closed. End and lock cannot delete a PDF already saved outside the browser.

Without persistent records, LucyOS cannot enforce one active device, count sessions globally, guarantee a recovery code is single-use, revoke every issued cookie immediately, or retain durable purchase and delivery history. IP addresses, user agents, and browser fingerprints are not used as device identity.

Merchant and support

Research commerce remains disabled until the merchant identity, merchant address, and support email are configured and shown at checkout. LucyOS does not substitute a placeholder address.
